Shafter, a native Floridian, began his insurance career in 2005 as an independent adjuster handling field claims in Louisiana following Hurricane Katrina. After completing his work there, he continued developing his expertise by managing daily and catastrophe claims in both staff and independent adjuster roles. His experience spans appraisal and litigation support, residential and commercial sinkhole claims, and litigation-focused claim file reviews. Shafter joined the Turnstone team in June 2025 as an Audit Consultant, bringing with him a broad and versatile background in property and casualty claims.
In his spare time, Shafter enjoys spending quality moments with family and friends, attending his children’s sporting events, and going to concerts and dinners with his wife.
