Terry’s career in the insurance industry began over thirty years ago when, immediately out of college in Texas, he took the first deployment of many as an adjuster for the Northridge Earthquake. After a decade on the road at events ranging from hurricanes to 9/11, Terry settled in South Florida and opened his own firm. While focusing his time on dispute resolution as an appraiser, appraisal umpire, and expert witness, his firm served as an adjusting and appraisal company for domestic carriers as well as a Delegated Claims Administrator for Lloyd’s programs in the Southeastern United States and Texas. Though a recent addition to the TurnStone family, Terry’s introduction came twenty years ago when his firm was one of the early ones audited by TurnStone.
In his free time, Terry is a competitive swimmer and practitioner of all things BBQ and open fire cooking. He enjoys traveling with his family and spending weekends at the beach, which inspired him to settle in Florida to begin with.
